Austrian foreign min says entry allowed for vaccinated Russians

VIENNA, Jul 1 (PRIME) -- Austria’s Foreign Ministry has excluded Russia from the list of states dangerous in terms of the coronavirus infection, and allowed entrance of fully vaccinated Russian citizens, Minister Alexander Schallenberg said on Thursday.

He added that the state has lifted the entrance ban for all states excluding the ones located in the regions with the spread of new virus mutations.

“There is no more warning on travel to the states, and nobody recommends avoiding non-urgent travels to the states, we can only speak about higher risks. The states are Russia, China, Turkey, Bosnia and Kosovo,” he said.

“The danger color for the states is changed from red to orange, which means that people should be fully immunized to enter Austria,” he added.
